Warm River Campout

Last weekend we had yet another campout/family reunion. This time it was at a place called Warm River Campground. There is a nice big river (not so warm) that runs through that everybody goes swimming and tubing in. Unfortunately for us, it was cloudy and rainy so we didn't do any tubing, but we sure fished a lot! Jesse was extremely popular with all the little kids because everytime he cast his line into the river, he would hook a fish, so all the little ones got to catch their own fish plenty of times. It was so fun watching him and the kids just loved it. He will be a great Daddy!
It was a really fun weekend, and when we left the campground we drove a few miles up the road to see the beautiful Mesa Falls of Idaho. We also saw a few huge bald eagles swooping in and out of our camp, and there was a big osprey catching fish out of the river every morning. I love spending time in the woods!

My first ever rainbow trout!

Can you spot the bald eagle?

This was really funny...at first, Jesse thought his hook just got snagged on a rock, but as he tugged it loose and reeled it in, we were all surprised to see that he caught a pair of sunglasses!

And this is what we look like after 3 days of camping!

Wow. That picture of the waterfall is absolutely beautiful. It looks like a snap shot of tarzan or something!
