Jesse got Memorial Day off work at the last second so we decided to take a quick trip to Jackson Hole, WY. We first went to the Teton Village (about 10 miles outside of Jackson) and rode the Aerial Tram up the mountain. Teton Village is about at 6,000ft elevation, and the tram took us 4,200 ft more straight up the mountain. The ride was awesome, and at the top we got to walk around in the snow and there is even a restaurant up there! The best part was that on the way back down, we saw a grizzly bear on the mountain below us! I've been in that area/Yellowstone multiple times, and this was the first time I got to see a bear in the wild. Even though we were about 60ft about it, it was amazing!
After the Teton Village, we traveled to Jackson where were just strolled around the town and had fun looking in all the neat little shops. We took a quick drive toward the Tetons and saw elk and buffalo and a bald eagle. It was just a quick day trip, but we had a blast!
Grizzly bear (sorry this video is so hard to see, we were high up and it happened so fast, but I was just excited to get it on film at all!)
